Updated on April 07, 2020

Hillary Burkholder recently joined the Pivot team as Senior Director of Community Engagement. She received both her Bachelor’s degree as well as her Master’s in Public Administration, with a concentration in Nonprofit Management, from the University of Oklahoma and has spent the last fifteen years working with communities in the social service arena at state agencies, local nonprofits and at University of Oklahoma’s Center for Public Management.

She comes to Pivot most recently from ReMerge, an organization serving high-risk, high-need mothers with justice involvement. Her professional career has focused on improving the lives of the most vulnerable families in our state and it is that passion that has led her to this position where she can spend her time sharing the critical mission of Pivot and the impactful stories of the youth we serve with the community in order to continue to build on Pivot’s momentum of partnerships and opportunity.

Hillary believes in actively serving her community and is a previous board member for the OU Board of Visitors for the College of Arts and Sciences, founding member of the Avant Gardener Young Professional Board for the Oklahoma City Myriad Gardens and is an alumna of Leadership OKC’s LOYAL program. In addition to serving the community, she is a mother to a sweet toddler, supportive wife to a fellow nonprofit professional, avid reader and lover of public radio.
